Brilliant doctors. Despite taking an age to get an appointment on some days. You always manage to get in and be sorted. Do think they should put something in place where only proven workers can have the workers appointments however. Several people I know try for the doctors worker appointments but can't get in told to come after they've started work to find the appointments before are taken by the elderly. Some of which will have all day to come. The place it's self is always well presented... clean and welcoming. The midwife is brilliant to treated us extremely well whilst pregnant with my little boy. But when you do find out and need to book a midwife appointment... for goodness sake don't tell one of the receptionists.... I had to tell her when she couldn't understand the doctors note... instead of being quiet she blurted it out in front of the entire reception including my mum!
Only been at this surgery just over a year all the staff are lovely, they speak nice to you on the phone, the doctors & nurses are lovely to speak to They treat you like your human ! Bit different to my last doctors Dr oza and his cronies. The staff in oza chemist are the same unless you're up their backsides . I would give Woodlands ten stars if I could Also Manor Pharmacy near the surgery is nice!

I cannot fault this practice, the staff or the service we have received. We have been patients here since the practice opened and the staff have always gone out of their way to help. Very friendly, efficient and professional.
Struggle to get an appointment and some doctors palm you off however Dr Law himself is has always been helpful in my experience

I have been with Dr Oza for several years and have always found him to be most professional, and understanding, he takes his time to listen to your needs and gives his advice generously. I have no hesitation in recommending this surgery !

Although I hope other people’s experiences are better than mine, I’ve decided to change my original review as I feel like I’m finally starting to get somewhere, I saw a great Dr the last time I was here who really took the time to listen to me and help me and it has made all the difference! - I think we can put most of the problems at Millbrook down to a lack of funding and staff shortages because both the staff & Drs who work here are very helpful when you actually get to see them.
The staff was lovely no fault in that it's just ashame I was discharged and made to pack my bags crying that I feel unsafe. I tried killing myself 2 nights earlier in Millbrook and then was discharged and basically left back on my own, after begging and pleading I don't want to leave. You're basically left to do your own thing in there, everyday the same for those who don't get visitors. And hour here and there with an OT but nothing that particularly helps you to get better. Mental hospitals are meant to inspire recovery, as Millbrook had written through the hallways. I left feeling worse then when I came in. My meds where not sorted like they said they would do, the only thing that changed was I got diagnosed. And then that same night made to discharge myself. I understand if perhaps they are struggling for beds etc, but that makes it worse, I was made to feel I wasn't as important as everyone else. There should be around the clock therapy to get people feeling back to themselves so there stay isn't long in hospital or so if they do get made to discharge themselves like myself they do not feel they haven't achieved anything, if I left with a few ways to help me cope and perhaps better support when I did get home. My 3* would be a lot higher. I would say 1* but the staff themselves where lovely and only doing there jobs. Please, sort the mental health system out.
